We stayed in a very fancy and fairly quiet room that had a lounge, it's own balcony, and coffee.

The hotel was wonderful and clean with good views at sunset. I asked for a queen room and the one given was neat and fancy. The breakfast was very very good served by at café. The pool was well-maintained and I had free soft drinks in the outdoor bar.

    Hard to think of anything.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to energetic Kuta beach and the bustling Kuta shops. It is also very central to Legian markets, providing a great opportunity for shopping enthusiasts. The service at the hotel is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to assist guests. The rooms are spacious and tidy, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast buffet offers a delicious variety of options to start the day.

There were some noises from maintenance work being done, which could be slightly disruptive at times.

The front of the resort was quite picturesque and hte breakfasts were good.

The Alam Kulkul is a nice hotel at the front and the are staff helpful, but it is over priced. Our family room was us$200, smelt of rotting fruit or dirty nappies (diapers) and had a view of a back alley. Not what I expect from a room costing this much. The room and bathroom had only basic furnishings which clearly had been around for a long time. The room needs to be refurbished. We stayed in three 4 star hotels in Bali over a two week trip. The Alam Kulkul was the most expensive and most uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful experience at the Alamkulkul Boutique Resort in Legian. The service and staff were excellent, and we were impressed with the level of hospitality shown by the chef. The hotel is conveniently located in a tourist area, within walking distance of many landmarks in Legian. Additionally, there is a bar right next door to the property, which added to the convenience of our stay. it was a fantastic base for our 10-night vacation.

Villa room was extremely well presented, close to all ammenities including the pool.Staff were some of the best we have encountered in bali and at all times attempted to exceed expectations. Hotel has a proactive approach to ensure guest satisfaction.

Bit of a walk to shopping/markets, although this is a very personal thought as we like to be in the hub of Kuta.
